Shannon began her career in executive search after completing her MBA with a focus in Strategic Management & International Business at York University’s Schulich School of Business. As an Associate with a major global executive search firm, she worked as a research generalist, recruiting and placing senior executives across various industries and verticals within the Canadian market. Shannon’s in-depth and systematic approach to the research process has proven successful in identifying and recruiting key leaders even within the most complicated and technical sectors. Today, Shannon is a cancer survivor and has developed a natural affinity to searches in the not-for-profit sector as she values the impact and mission driven focus demonstrated by clients and candidates alike.
In addition to her MBA, Shannon’s academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario and a Post-Graduate degree in Public Relations & Corporate Communications from Centennial College. She has served on the Board of Trustees at the Bishop Strachan School (BSS) in Toronto and has been an active volunteer at Sunnybrook’s Odette Cancer Centre. Currently, Shannon lives a happy and healthy life in Toronto with her two boys.
